005. Project notes
A public record
of the work.
Decisions, progress, and the questions still worth asking.
/ Note 002
Build for people who need a starting point.
The primary audience is first-time builders, people building with AI, and business owners commissioning apps. Privacy professionals help strengthen the foundation, but expertise should never be the price of entry.
This edition adds a beginner guide, six source-linked law summaries with local filters, and the proposed OPS Guide product direction. Bold emphasis, underlined focal points, and original monochrome line illustrations give the letter more rhythm.
OPS Guide and its MCP endpoint remain planned. The initial library is limited educational material, without independent legal review.
/ Note 001
Begin with the foundation.
Open Privacy Standard begins with a conviction: every builder should have access to the foundations of responsible data handling.
The first website publishes an open letter, the manifesto, an early scope draft, and the build plan. Its source is available to download.
Our first proposed implementation focuses on consent and preferences. The next work is to define the contract, build an independent reference implementation, and publish tests for its behavior.
This is an initiative in development. There is no released privacy engine, established standard, or certification program yet.
The words are the design. Useful work will be the proof.
